WIC Program

wiclogo14WIC is a supplemental food and nutrition program for  prenatal  women, breastfeeding and post-partum women, infants and children up to age 5.  WIC is a federal program of the USDA.
WIC offers nutrition assessment and counseling, supplemental nutritious foods, and appropriate community referrals.  WIC now includes fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grain items along with milk and cheese, eggs, peanut butter, and beans. Infant packages include baby food fruits and vegetables, cereal and appropriate supplemental infant formula. WIC is a community resource for breastfeeding support, assistance and necessary supplies.  An appointment is necessary.
 
WIC personnel will make appropriate referrals to other agencies or organizations if necessary.
